 MP Future Plans
Remember that the following features will NOT be part of the initial
release. They merely represent the plans of our team to extent
Söldner after release. A lot of this will depend on how Söldner
will be accepted by the community and which features they like.
Persistant Server Stats
Servers will be able to save player stats locally and communicate
those to clan pages and our central world stat servers. Those
stats allow us to implement skill gain while playing on such a
server. Skill gain will improve your soldiers abilities over time.
Skills will however deteriorate when the soldier isn't played
on this server.
Persistant World Stats
The world stat server will communicate with special servers setup
by official game providers (ie. no private servers). The stats
will allow having the same skill gain functions as the Server
stats above, this time they count on ALL official servers connected
to the World Stat servers. This means its easier to keep your
skill gain active as many more servers are usable to do so.
World Campaign
This is our big plan. We plan to host world servers which have
a grand map available. Each registered clan will own a part of
this map and can fight about other parts of the map. When a clan
plans to conquer a map they will mark it accordingly and the other
team has time to plan defense. Certain times will be made available
when the map is being fought over and both teams can register
for those times. The winning team will take over the map which
will be marked accordingly on the map.
A map will reset after certain conditions are met. Multiple map
servers will be offered to allow all clans to fight. Map servers
will be sorted by leagues, ie. winning clans will climb up the
ladder and get access to new map servers with higher difficulty.
